Giving FAQs
Our "General" fund touches every area and ministry of our church. If there is a greater need in one area, say an emergency need for one of our Missionaries, our General Fund allows us to easily transfer money to support the cause. If you're unsure where to give, start here!
You can also give to a number of other ministries and funds, such as:
- Missions Our missions fund allows us to extend the reach of the Gospel by supporting missionaries in different parts of the world. Each month we focus on two different types of missions projects, a Mission Commitment or our core long-term missionaries we support each year, as well as a Missions Visionary Project where we support a new cause, visiting missionary, urgent need, and more. - Property Maintenance Giving to our Property Maintenance fund helps us keep our church campus in the best shape to serve our community. Each month over 150 different events and programs occur in our building, including our normal Sunday Morning Services, Sunday Schools, and Wednesday evening services, but also including a number of community programs like Scouts, AA meetings, Weddings, Election Voting, Funerals, and more.
- Roof Fund The Roof fund is an extension of the Property Maintenance fund that is specifically dedicated to the repair and maintenance of our church building's roof.
- Assistance Fund The Assistance Fund allows us as a community of believers to support the needs of members within our congregation.
- Light The Way Our Light The Way Radio ministry allows us to broadcast our teaching messages over the air on 11 different radio stations and extend the reach of the Gospel. By setting up a recurring $20 per month gift, you'll become one of our "Light Partners."
- Boyertown Multi-Service (October Focus) Boyertown Area Multi-Service is a social service agency dedicated to meeting needs and improving the lives of people in the Boyertown School District Area and surrounding communities of Amity, District, Hereford, Pike and Oley townships.
- American Bible Society (November Focus) The American Bible Society is a United States–based nondenominational Bible society which publishes, distributes and translates the Bible and provides study aids and other tools to help people engage with the Bible.
Yes, you can setup online giving to deduct directly from your bank account, and you can unlink your account at any time! You simply need your routing number and checking account number.
This is the preferred giving method, as it has the lowest transaction fees that the church covers. Please note that it does take up to 3 days for our giving service to verify access to your account before your initial gift is received.
Our online giving portal is handled by Subsplash Giving, a PCI-compliant Level 1 service provider. The portal is protected by industry standard encryption and is safe and secure to use. All financial data and personal information (such as Credit/Debit card and Bank Account records) is stored by Subsplash Giving and its service providers.
Shepherd of the Hills Church does not have access to any financial account information and only receives a report of your gift amount along with an indication of the type of payment method used as well as the last 4 digits of the payment account (Credit/Debit card or Bank Account) for verification purposes.
Managing your donation methods
Update a recurring gift
Yes. Simply login to your giving account by clicking on the person avatar above the Fund selection box. After you sign in, click Recurring Gifts. Select the gift you would like to cancel and select Delete gift. It’s that easy.

To change your recurring gift amount, simply login to your giving account by clicking on the person avatar above the Fund selection box. After you sign in, click Recurring Gifts. Select the gift you would like to update. Tap on the areas of the gift you would like to update. You can update the payment source, amount, fund, frequency and date. When you are finished making changes, click the "Save and update gift" button.

If you wish to designate a donation to a specific ministry or cause, please contact the Church Office at 610-754-6446 and we will work with you directly to ensure your gift is delivered to the right fund.
